Humble Beasts

It’s not easy. Whoever told you it was didn’t know what leading at a high capacity looks like.

The first boundary is the level of miscommunication that can happen amongst the tiers of leaders that work with you in your mission.

The second boundary is the amount of energy it takes to focus your leaders on the right thing instead of the wrong things.

The moment you walk in the door they’ll want you to prove yourself… but you’ll never prove yourself.

Therefore, I am convinced, that humility is one of the most valuable commodity’s on the planet. It’s humility that will elevate people above you even when you’re not popular and would like to elevate yourself. It’s humility that pushes others toward their best version of themselves instead of toward the best version for the organization. It’s humility that will overcome the people who don’t believe in your vision.

So be humble. But stand your ground. Cause every inch you take is another inch closer to your preferred future. Humility will get you further, faster. And character always wins the day.
