If God asked you, right now, to build an ark, would you do it? I was watching Evan Almighty the other day, while my wife napped and my new born was asleep, and I honestly kept asking myself that question. What would I do if God asked me to build an ark? Seriously? What would I do? What would you do?
Sometimes it might look like building an actual ark (see Noah’s story in Genesis). And sometimes it looks like telling someone about God. Sometimes it looks like feeding the homeless, sometimes it looks like something much harder.
All I know, is that if God asked me to build an ark, I’d like to say yes. So what “arks” am I saying no to in my life right now that I should be building because God has asked me to? It’s worth the question. It’s worth exploring an answer.
