Strive

The word strive, as defined by Mirriam-Webster dictionary means:

-to devote serious effort or energy
-to struggle in opposition

It is a verb. Synonyms are words like:  drudge, struggle, endeavor, slave, and toil among others.

What a powerful word. I often times feel like there is something missing. I usually know it is because I have not been striving after God the way I would like.

My only question when I think about this word in relation to my life and my pursuit of Christ is this: Am I striving?
